Except estoc is a quality weapon and not pure dex.... thank you. nobody seems to realize that. on a pure dex build the estoc only has 335 Attack rating but the Balder side sword has 384, that's 49 points! Comboing makes all the difference between a casual Estoc user and a master. You can kill newbies with R1's for sure, but against a good player you just get parried. Play cleverly. I'd say Ricard's Rapier is better, but even harder to use. Crow quills have the best critical dmg and scaling of dex thrusting swords.

What do you all think about the estoc? I have it upgraded +10 with darkness but i can't seem to hit high. Also i have 18 dex and 40 strength since estoc scales better with strenght. Shall i go for lighting, bleed, magic?

Why I love using both Balder Side Sword and Estoc at the same time. The movesets are like the inverse of eachother: Estoc has poke R1 and sweep R2, Balder has sweep R1 and poke R2.
