There is no spaces and was wondering if this was normal and about what year was manufactured. Many, many times, an older S&W revolver will have a model number (in the FFL books) that is the assembly number from the crane (because that's where the model number has always been!). I have never corrected an FFL, being Arizona, being me and not really giving a rat's rectum, it has worked for me.
