Beretta Silver Pigeon or Benelli 828U. I'm in the market for an O/U. Mainly to use in the field, but I also shoot sporting clays while I practice for the seasons. I've been a big benelli fan, and have several because they seem to fit me well. They are all semi autos. I know fit is everything, so that will play a huge role.

The Benelli's have each had far more problems in the field than my Beretta has. That said, my Beretta is not an A400 (it's an Xtrema2) and the problematic Benelli's are all SBE"s. I don't think that anyone will argue the point that the A400 w/ Kick-Off will be noticeably softer-shooting than the SV.
