In order to start trapping, you need to have completed the quest "Pelt for the Pelt God" for the Lord of the Hunt and accept the quest "Frogecoin to the MOON!". This quest opens Hunting Season for Froge critters, allowing them to spawn in the Jungle Perimeter. Each Lord of the Hunt quest allows the next critter to spawn somewhere in the world.

Forge auto arm may only pick up the bars every 24H but it refills ores every time they become empty. For example an archer on spores for 2-3 minutes can produce enough kills to smelt your whole forge and it will auto refill them and you can repeat until satisfied/run out of ore, then at the end of the day if you haven't grabbed the bars auto arm will grab them.
