I can tell you that this chert came from Texas but I don't know what county. This was a small spall. It's tough as nails. Buffalo River Chert is one of the many Ft Payne formation cherts, so it's not uncommon for there to be a lot of similarities. Type, I think you are in the right age range of Early Archaic. Commonly seen in use for Thebes, Adena and Snyders style points.
