Found a thread here @ SGW by Curly that suggested using a #1 drill with your fingers to clean out surplus plastic from the primer pocket of the hull. As I recall, it is not an issue when reloading with a Rem 209's. The #1 drills are inexpensive too.Well today boredom got the best of me so I decided to trim some 3" AAHS 410 hulls and use them for 2.5" loads. I simply used a 2.5" hull to give me the mark and trimmed the first few with a small chop saw. I skived a couple of them and ran them through my stock 600 using the standard spindex crimp starter. They crimped and turned out beautifully.
