The SP20 is 1.540" long with a shot cup depth of 1.050" = 1 oz. The "S" designation was added later when they stitched the petals together. I wound up using SP20 wads. Oh, & yes, I do take care to keep my hulls dry & if they get water on them, I dry them & wipe them off with an oily rag, but they rust anyway!! I am going to order some of the DR 20 versalite wads. I hear good things about the Orange Duster also.
