We just spent a week there with North Swells and south/se winds. Most places were fairly churned up so viz was bad all week. The most favorable conditions were Francis to Maho, and Leinster to Anaberg. Pelican rock was also pretty calm, but winds much more southerly next few days, with some good gusts today.

In addition to driving on the left there are steep hills up and down and if you want to go to Cinnamon there is a tricky switch back. Save. St. John Hardware (up past Starfish parking lot) sometimes has them. They are a hot commodity and usually run out fast. If you buy they will probably cost you at least $50 per chair. If you are renting a vehicle on St. Thomas you could stop at Cost U Less before getting on the car barge. At the airport when leaving :) They have plain, with cheese and with ham and cheese and they are between $4 and $6 where the hamburgers or hotdogs are around $15 so best deal when waiting to leave (although they do sell out if you flight is a late one) 9. I keep a day's worth with me for walking around money and the rest in the safe. Credit cards are accepted at more places these days, but some do not accept AmEx. 2.
