Yea V has more augments than Morgan did but Adam Smasher was like 96% Augments at the point we get to him. Sadly the truth isn't that exciting.. it is hard coded in the game files that wheneven a boss (cyberpsychos, Sasquatch, Oda, etc..) is looking in your direction, he will automatically detect you.
