But if you are concerned about the concussion for home defense/ indoor use for yourself then a supressor is your best option and a good flash hider is second best option. I believe JP enterprises JPFH-556L has the secret sauce for best flash hider.

Keep in mind that the listed length of a muzzle device typically includes about .5" of thread that isn't added to the rifles length. So that 3.1" flash hider probably adds about 2.6" to your 10.5" barrel, making it 13.1" overall.Phantom (both types) and Vortex are good for me. The various open and closed style Bi-Loc for Gemtech suppressors have also been good. The Phantom style Bi-Loc is a little shorter in terms of actual FP size due to the mount, but seems to work at least as well. 10.5" LMT.
