When I push the slide forward I hear the extractor "click" (at least I think it's the extractor).If I'm not home, just slide the money under the door. I do, but not a GSG 1911 barrel to measure. My Kimber barrel measures .580". The GSG barrel has a threaded barrel from the factory. The end of the barrel screws off for use of a supressor. The threading is metric, and I have read that it is 1/2x28. I can get you a OD of the barrel end.
