Do the harder one. Master is not required nor does it affect the drop rate. I ran around 30 normal wellspring in 2 days and got the other 2 to drop last weekend within those runs. First drop was the Hunter Glaive schematic (around 85 clears) Second drop was the Titan one (around 100 clears). A waste of time if you ask me. There is some good perks in those glaves but nothing big enough to use them over ofher exotics or in specific endgames. It took me to this season to get the last of 3 to drop. Whether you choose the Normal Mode or Brave the Hard Mode doesn’t make a difference for this specific exotic drop. Consistency is Key. The instant unlock from the evidence board is only if you want to skip the grind and RNG. The patterns will still drop from Wellsprings and DO NOT require a matching class to drop (matching class IS required to forge the Glaive in the Enclave).
