All models (X, XL, and Macro) must use the provided 3mm screws that have a shaft and tapered head to INSTALL the optic on a P365 using the provided 2mm Allen wrench.I don’t have the TacOps, but I have an XL. I shoot the X-Macro better than the XL. Maybe an X-Macro Tacops would even the field. I will say that the X-Macro “Comp” does shoot a bit flatter for me and with just maybe a bit less perceived recoil. The P365 X Macro Comp is a great gun, except for the horrendous trigger break.Current P365 XMacro models seem to be a result of consumer demand. Amongst other differences: P365 XMacro: 3.7" barrel P365 XMacro Comp: 3.1" barrel with compensator P365 XMacro Tacops: 3.7" barrel, extra mags etc. Seems to me that the central question is: longer barrel or compensator.
