Centaur are very warlike and raiders. I do Belo live they are modeled after the Huns. But even Mongols settled and developed cities, made allies, and abandoned the raiding mentality for a more home centric kinf of mentality. I believe centaurs could find that with the Horde. Tauren where nomadic, and Orcs where raiders and some where nomads. It could be due to the fact that the BE population was addicted to mana and that energy so at the time there were no non-magic users and cata was the culmination of them cleansing their addiction and the first wave of non-magical warriors were trained. The Qiraji, Mantid, Nerubians, and Aqir we know for CERTAIN are all related and all living, breathing spawns of the Old Gods' flesh during the primordial age of Azeroth.

Garrosh didn’t land a single blow IIRC before then. Cairne was possibly the most impressive fighter Azeroth ever produced.
