Tenicor Velo 4 with M&P Shield. Holsters. I just purchased the Velo to go with my Shield. I've been carrying at 4 o'clock with a CYA holster but I wanted to try a dedicated AIWB holster to see if 1 o'clock would be a better option for me. Do any of you run this Velo/Shield combo or something similar?
The Tenicor Velo is a great EDC option for my 43x đ„đ„. You spilled your ammo. I think the craftsmanship and design of this holster are top notch, as I mentioned, I also own a T1C Axis and this is definitely on par. 10/10 would recommend. You really canât go wrong with either one. I like the camber bar better on the Certum but like the split clips better on the Velo4. Velo is nice as long as it settles into to the crease of your leg/pelvis. Donât need to tighten the belt that much. The Certum is nice because it can go anywhere from 12 to 6.Precision Built. A lot of them have good customer service but not as good of a return policy as Tenicor. Only differences between velo vs certum are these respectively: wedge vs no wedge (but can always add a wedge to the certum) built-in claw vs removable claw. full sweat guard vs mid sweat guard. It seems they purposely use friction for retention. This was their response to me: Generally speaking, the lack of audible âclickâ compared to many other polymer holsters, is intentional.
