I've been carrying at 4 o'clock with a CYA holster but I wanted to try a dedicated AIWB holster to see if 1 o'clock would be a better option for me. Do any of you run this Velo/Shield combo or something similar?

You really can’t go wrong with either one. I like the camber bar better on the Certum but like the split clips better on the Velo4. Velo is nice as long as it settles into to the crease of your leg/pelvis. Don’t need to tighten the belt that much. The Certum is nice because it can go anywhere from 12 to 6.Precision Built. Only differences between velo vs certum are these respectively: wedge vs no wedge (but can always add a wedge to the certum) built-in claw vs removable claw. full sweat guard vs mid sweat guard.
