Subaru forester window reset.
We have a Subaru Forester 2017. The battery died and had to be replaced. There was no need to reset the radio station settings. I figured out the reset of date and time pretty quickly (like immediately). Two days later, I learned about the window problem. Found the fix pretty quickly in the window section, not the battery section of the manual.
Wiper Problem. I has some snow fall off the roof at a stoplight that jammed the wipers at half stroke. I jumped out to clear the snow hoping to evade the thermal breaker that used to be in cars. Too late. The passenger window forgets its calibration and needs to be reset. This happened a week ago when driving around with my windows open (it's finally feeling like Spring here). Hold the key down for 2-5 seconds after the window is down. Once your window is all the way down, hold the button down for 2-5 seconds. Release the button after you’ve held it down for a short period of time. [3] On some vehicles, the required time to reset the window is 2 seconds. Dec 10, 2017 · Could be the battery was disconnected at some point and they didn't reset the auto up-down switch on the passenger side. Using the passenger side switch to reset it, just put it half way up and stop, then pull all the way up and hold the switch until it stops. Then push it all the way down and hold until it stops. After you need to reset the system, roll the window all the way up and hold the switch in the up position for several seconds. The same system applies to the sunroof. Steve.
