You could easily smell it through the air vents. Took it to Jeep several times within 5k miles. They stated they could not find an oil leak. Two weeks ago wrangler was overheating then dropping back down after a long drive. In the am, the check engine light came on. Misfire with cylinder 1. Moved coil back and issue followed. Replaced all coilpacks and thermostat. Seemed ok for a bit. Fast forward a couple weeks and then temp is raising again. While stopped, running idle, the dash goes dead. It's always been a warning sign that things are about to go bad - 2-3 minute warning.

I can usually hear the sound for a few minutes. It sounds like like some kind of fluid or water is splashing around underneath the center console area.

While it's still idling high, the temperature would stabilize again back to 1/2. This would repeat every few minutes. It is not limited to idling.
