All GSG/Sig 1911s have series 80 safeties. Therefore there is only one firing pin option. The only way you could have one of these guns with out it is to remove the series 80 parts and replace with the correct shim. The pin is coming from ATI for the GSG 1911-22. Added a CW Accessories Performance Enhancement Kit and a Dawson rear sight. Slapped a set of old VZ Frag grips on it and have shot the snot out of it.

The usual concern with rimfires is that the FP will dent the breach face. Yes, 80% parts are interchangeable with standard 1911 milspec parts. That is a HUGE benefit compared to other 1911-22's on the market, IMO. But the 1911-22 does have a fixed barrel via the slide stop, pin and allen screw. This is not a bad thing, just different from the barrel lug design on the milspec .45.
