I have some questions about Australium Weapons. I want an Australium medi gun, but I was just wondering if I should get it by playing mvm or just buying it. My original plan was to just play mvm until I get it, but that would mean spending $100 on tickets, which is almost the gun's price on the community market.

Personally for me I'm just biased against the aussies because I unironically like botkillers more. Probably the australium, unusual draw too much attention and makes playing medic and sniper kinda hard. Invest in rust botkiller knives. 26 of them. Depends what you like.

It’s a mix between texture quality (I think) and the mat_phong setting in the dev console. If you have a high texture quality with mat_phong 1 they’ll look like they do in their preview images with the gold with wooden accents on some.
