Things like adept impact or blast radius wont work on something like a handcannon, but something like adept range does work... I have adept range on my Eyasluna, tested its range against a similar luna I had, the extra range is there. I hope this 'glitch' stays in some form as an actual way to grind for consumable adept mods for non-adept weapons.

Yes making raid weapons adept would make them stand out a bit more, but let's be honest a raid is less similar to trials than a GM is similar to trials. Also, let me point out the fact that the adept weapons from trials will only come from going flawless, but for a raid, there are no tiers of completion, while in a GM there are tiers of completion.
Flawless Trials Passage. Before this, the only way you could get an Adept Weapon in Destiny 2 was to complete a Flawless Trails Passage, like the Trials of Osiris, and make it to The Lighthouse. From here, you can open up a Flawless Chest and this will give you an Adept Weapon. Congratulations!

Apparently Bungie sets 1 weapon for the week (it was the GL) so unless you've unlocked Adept Rufus before (in that case u can buy copies from the final chest) there is literally no way to get it unless Bungie decides that it is the weapon that will drop when RoN is featured. ... Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but the last wish secret chests drop red borders and weapons you don't have unlike other raid chests. Although there's a lot of RNG involved, nice way for solo players to get raid loot.
