Nov 12, 2021 · Kineticist builds aren't too varied simply due to the fact that their class features rely heavily on staying single class. You can get away with taking a 1 lvl dip without losing much power so most folks go Monk, although I like to go Stigmatised Witch for the Mage Armor spell, +2 AC hex, +1AC familiar, plus fire immunity way later on (doesnt come online till lvl 19).

Depends on how you define 'best'. If you're talking about the ability to just non-stop nuke, kinetecist is likely the best choice simply because they never run out and mostly focus on spamming and modifying that one nuke. As mentioned, Blood Kineticist is broken right now, as in not functioning. You can still play a Dhampir Kineticist, but you need to know how Kineticist functions so that you're not mislead. It functions basically like a spellcaster, it channels energy to shoot blasts of energy, or form it into a sword to hit things. Since the kinetic blade doesn't get any bonus dmg from STR though, a DEX build is almost certainly a better idea. Just make sure you get at least 14 STR to wear heavy armor unencumbered. You can find/buy mythril full plate fairly early in the game, so getting a decent AC with some DEX is quite possible.
