Nexus collections keeps being compared to Wabbajack, unfairly in my opinion, when it is more like Steam collections. As far as I can tell, and I will be honest I only tried Nexus collections twice while it was in beta, Nexus collections does literally none of the post-processing required to make an actual mod list work the way Wabbajack does.

Jan 10, 2023 · Vortex is fine. I switched back to it from MO2 after collections came out. I will say my data folder is definitely messier looking with vortex compared to when MO2 was managing it, but hey, my game works and is stable enough with the mods I want so I’d give it a thumbs up. Wabbajack installs an entire MO2 instance.

Vortex will continue to install the revision you started downloading, however, if you click "Update" in the "Added Collections" view it will update the newest revision and download those files.
