Dares of Eternity is Awesome. Possibly/probably unpopular opinion but this is one of the best game modes. It's silly and stupid but I enjoy it every time. like people have mentioned, Legend dares is dudu butter easy, anybody can get 250K. 300K is the real target for the bounty and bonus round. i too hate champions and match game, i think they are an artificial way to pad out the difficulty, but, with the right build, you wont even need to worry about them.
Im on the last step for completing the 30th anniversary seal and i have to complete all the encounters in dares or eternity on legend right, ive ran it about 20-30 times and im only getting vex and hive, and i honestly dont know if im typing all of this out of frustration or genuinely asking if its a fixed thing for legend.Those refer to the other rounds, not the boss fight. We'll have to hope next week we fight Vex in Legend in one of those rounds and use the craniums. Dares weapons don't drop from the activity itself, with the exception of Cash and Prizes. Legend also doesn't give you more keys, outside of a higher frequency of Lightning Rounds. Ultimately, I felt like just running through normal was generally more enjoyable and at the very least not significantly less efficient.

Completing Dares of Eternity on Legend difficulty for the first time after the weekly reset guarantees you exactly one red border weapon. While it isn’t much, it is a good start and helps ...if they bump up the power level to the point where we need blues to level then it could be helpful. esp for 2nd and 3rd chars (i.e. do legend campaign to get to softcap +20 on first character and then open paraversal hauls on 2nd char to get them to the softcap fast)

It's completely random, and I don't think we know how much Legend improves the odds by. I only just got to rank 16, and I had about 12 Lightning Rounds, mostly in normal. Just rng. I had an insane run the other day with 3 lightning rounds in a row. The chat feed was rightly blowing up.
