If the intake air heater is not working you will get a code. Take the nut off the wire (8 or 10 MM socket) and remove it, and start the truck. The check engine light will come on. If you can read the code it will tell you the intake air heater voltage is low.

I pulled both the solenoid relays off and found the back one not connecting across the poles when excited. So I took it apart and found it burnt across the contacts.Today, I took the truck to a Dodge dealer to have the ECM reflashed back to the latest OEM flash so I could eliminate the EFILive tune so I can install the Banks EconoMind inline tuner instead. 3.
