I know the ML 350 turned off all it's back up safety features when trailer is connected. Subaru installed the wiring harness and hitch. I would think that once the vehicle recognized a trailer was connected to the wiring harness, it would automatically turn off the RAB and Parking Assist. Or at least I hoped it would.
