Hey Neal, We have a Honeywell HZ311 and only use two zone. Zone 1 & 2 are green while zone 3 and Heat are red. Zone 1 & 2 are green while zone 3 and Heat are red. The furnace stats are set to 70, as of the last two weeks throughout the day the furnace just doesn't kick on for several hours so it will get down to the low 60's in the house.

Zones 1 and 3 are red and won't turn on. Zone 3 is the basement and very cold so rarely does AC turn on. Upstairs is not cooling down. I installed new ecobee thermostats on main floor and upstairs last winter. I have a honeywell thermostat in the basement.
All the red light means is that the board is telling your zone 3 damper to be closed - but it sounds like you only have 2 zones, so that's not an issue, since there's no third zone to open. Is air coming from your inside supply vents? How cold is it? How has your unit performed on other 100 F days?
