Give your nails a light buff with a buffing block and wipe with acetone before applying. The trick is to find the balance because if you use too much glue, you'll flood and then get big dried crusties. Acrylics aren't ruining your natural nails. It's the mother-frakking drill that techs use. Specifically with the nails, I looked at Reddit Laqueristas in the mornings to encourage myself. I also used nail strengthening polish, and painted my nails with coloured polish frequently to discourage chewing. I found that covering up the stubby bitten bits with colour stopped me from focusing on their irregularity and biting more. As other have said, yup, absolutely legit. Just wanted to add that their sister site is SleekNail. Both sites carry mostly the same inventory (though there are a few things on BP that aren't at SN), but the big difference is shipping cost. BP has lower prices on many brands, but free shipping doesn't kick in until $75 (or $45 in their app). I want to like Essie polish. I really do. However, either I'm doing something wrong or Essie is the worst quality polish I have ever used. It goes on thin and streaky, brushstrokes are visible no matter what I do, and it chips off within 24 hours. I've tried Essie top coat, my normal top coat, and no top coat. The results are terrible any way.

The "cuticle junk" immediately after being pushed back, is like a sandwich of dead skin folded around live skin.Apply thickly, get a nice bead on the end of the brush, then set softly down on the first nail printed and watch how Seche Vite flows over the wet nail polish without dragging or streaking the underlying manicure.
