Answer 1 of 11: Hi guys, The wife and I are planning to travel to PC in May. Majestic is on top of our list of resort choice. I did some searching and the difference between the two clubs is about $200, Colonial being the cheaper one. From the description... Dreams is all family. Elegance has family and AO sections. At Dreams, depending on the category booked you could be in a building closest to the ocean. At Elegance, only the AOs are next to the ocean. Family buildings are further in. But at either, even from the lobby it's no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Majestic Mirage is known as the quieter and calmer resort out of the 3 Majestics. It's adult oriented. 2 out of the 7 buildings are dedicated for families and the other 5 are adult only. The entire resort is club. Not many kids around the Mirage compared to the Elegance and especially the Colonial.

1. Re: Majestic Elegance vs Mirage. You have your own restaurants at the Mirage. It is a higher tier than the Elegance and will be even more elegant. It will have a similar vibe. Caribbean Street for shopping over at the Colonial will remain available to you.
