Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 weird creaking from hinge. Got a Ideapad Gaming 3 last week (i5-12500H, RTX 3060 6GB) . I noticed a weird creaking sound coming from the left hinge every time I open or close it. It does not make the sound all the way. It only does it at some angles.For context, IdeaPads and a lot of Lenovo's lower-end laptops have recurrent issues with the border of the screen and the hinge next to it. After owning the laptop for about 3 months with regular, gentle usage the border would pop out when I closed the lid. Initially I did nothing, but it has gotten significantly worse and I want to get it ... To address the first issue first make sure you have all critical updates from Lenovo installed. Sometimes Vantage may skip something. And run a battery calibration cycle with Vantage. Second one is hardware related. Looks like a loose hinge.
