The only thing that doesnt make it the mot base model is that it has the 4WD. Now the red flashing light above the temp gauge is on the entire time I drive and has been on since I bought it a week ago! The dealer said it is nothing, a "security light". These lights coming on indicate a fault has been detected with one of the anti-lock brake or 4wd components. When a component acts up in either of these systems ( like a sensor or solenoid or failing actuator ) these lights will come on. I had to disconnect the battery and afterwards the defrost light will blink for about 10-20 seconds when the vehicle is started. Nothing will work while the defrost light is blinking but once it stops, all hvac controls will work.
