The gateways don't have the ability to create a guest network. You'll either have to give them credentials for your network or they can use the hot spot if they are Xfinity customers. That is not true, I’ve had my guest network set up on all my Xfinity modems, now I’m using the new XB8 they all have option to split the networks.
