Not sure of that is normal or not but thought I would mention it. What I've done so far: 1. Replaced angle sensor - Starting somewhat working then quit after trying find why it wouldn't down shift. 2. When she first starts out with a cold engine, shifing from 1st to 2nd, you have to hit the shift button 3 or 4 times before it will shift into 2nd. After running the bike for awhile and the engine is really warmed up, it will shift alot better.

Rancher 350 ES won't shift. My 2000 rancher 350 ES won't shift any more. It was shifting fine, then i put a new digital display on it cause the old one didn't work. Since then the electric shift will not shift anymore. It will cause your clutch to slip and wear out very quickly. A lot of guys recommend Rotella 15w40 diesel oil. It doesnt have the friction modifiers that regular car oils have that cause clutch slippage.
