So picking my one and only semi-auto shotgun to do a variety of things from plinking to clays to possibly occasional casual 3 gun. Looking at Benelli M1 buds exclusive and Franchi Affinity 3. Less than $200 price difference. Leaning Benelli just for the name, although I know that Affinity is made at the same plant.

I have a Affinity 3 and an A400(and a Benelli M2). The Affinity 3 is strictly for hunting for me: it’s got a 26” barrel and is nice and light for quick shots, great fit and finish. The Franchi has a traditional forearm and receiver while the Vinci models are one piece. The magazine tube on the Franchi is like most auto loaders that threads into the receiver. The Vinci's have their safeties at the front of the trigger guard and the Affinity is at the back (like other Benelli auto loaders). The franchi is the 3 inch less fancy version of the benelli. Benelli sbe2 will shoot 3.5 inch ao if you want to shoot those go with the benelli. I'm personally a super black eagle fan boy so if you have the money I'd recommend that. The stiff-loading of Benelli M2's and similar (Franchi Affinity) is extremely well-known and universally recognized.
