My question is if this is something that is to be expected from this school going forward? I know Chamberlain has a reputation for being "a DiPLoMa MiLL" or whatever but, come on. If it continues to be like this, I'm going to have to transfer. I thought I was done with the whole pulling rabbits out of a hat BS when I finished my BSN.

I am currently at Ohio university completing their online RN-BSN program but am required to take a microbiology and chemistry course. At the community college I graduated from with my ADN I just had to take a 1 credit microbiology class and no chemistry and if Chamberlain can let me graduate without one, I would be ecstatic. If anyone has any …Already had a bachelors and even with 3 semesters of prereqs at CC, doing an accelerated BSN is less than a 4yr BSN. 3 semesters of CC was ~$2,500 for 12 classes, aBSN programs in the area range from $15k-30k. Chamberlain would’ve been like $60-70k if you took my existing credits off the balance and only gotten me finished 6-12mo sooner.
