Gmc sierra speakers not working.
THis is probably best to rule out a break in the speaker wiring between the radio and speaker. Find an old speaker of most any type that you know works and hook it in to see if it works. If not, then you know it is not the speaker, it is the wiring or the radio itself. Then you might have to pull the radio and tap into the speaker connections ...
Just a generic answer, is to pull the stereo, figure out what pins of the connector go to the door speakers, and measure connectivity through each speaker. If there is an open in the connections, you have a broken wire or connector to trace, or they are blown. The door speakers in my 2008 chevy silverado quit working, and sometimes if you killed the truck out, when you crunk it back up they would start working again, and they would either stop working going down the road, or when you killed the truck out and crunk it again. Try unplugging your battery and leaving it over night. SOURCE: 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 - heater blows, but only cold air. Check coolant level. Check for heat at the heater hose going from water pump to heater core at firewall. Check to see that cable is moving coolant control valve from the closed to open position. Low mileage so it shouldn't be plugged heater core.Tailgate Speaker System powers on, but no sound. Check that proper mode is selected, e.g. Bluetooth, Aux, USB. Refer to Bluetooth Controller User Manual. Tailgate Speaker System has rattle or buzz. Make sure foam tape is applied to rear of speaker baffle. Make sure all wires are wire-tied securely and not touching the speaker baffle or tailgate.

Has worked off and on for a few days and now it has been out for two days! I have pulled the center console out and checked my connections on the amp and all are good.
With the ignition off, open the fuse box and remove the fuse (s) for the infotainment system (use the plastic tweezers provided if available). Now check the fuse (s) and see if the wire inside any of them is broken. Also check that each fuse has the correct rating, according to the information in the owner’s manual.
Apr 20, 2023 · Solution #2: Change the Speaker’s Wire. Locate the speakers which seem faulty. Then, mark the doors that have faulty speakers (check where the sound coming from). Remove the door plastic insert using a pry bar. Detach the door panel by unbolting the 3 bolts with a flat screwdriver. Tailgate Speaker System powers on, but no sound. Look for 9 to 15 volts AC from RMS to full power. Just a reference. There is also the 9 volt battery test. Hold either one of the speaker wires to either battery terminal and brush the other wire on the other battery post. Check the radio. If you have the rear entertainment if you turn the rear on the speakers will go off so i does not interfere with using the headphones. Check the rear entertainment to ensure it is turned off. You turn it off and on at the rear entertainment console. Your owners manual tells you how to do it. Hope this helps.
