I did two years as an efy counselor in 2016 and 2017. I believe recently they changed to allow for fsy counselors to be paid. I think they were having trouble getting volunteers. I can’t remember how long it took to hear back. I did a virtual interview and an in-person interview. The experience was wonderful.
