Failing nclex in 85 questions.

NCLEX RN STOPPED AT 86 Qs. I took my test today @8am. This is my 4th time taking the exam. I stopped at 86 questions today. Idk what to think. I’m so nervous and anxious that I didn’t pass. I just passed my first time last week and it shut down at 85 so I think it’s a good sign for you that you passed!you either passed or failed very quickly.My Nclex Pn With 85 Questions!!! This recent one, I went all the way to 130, NCLEX PN Covid 2020, and felt a little bit on edge. The last few questions were a mixture of easy/hard. I purchased quick results only to know I failed. I used the NCBSN NCLEX PN 5 week test plan to study, although I started back in September, reading the books and stuff.Just took the NCLEX this morning, cut off at 60, felt awful and felt I failed. I also focused on diseases and critical care, but was asked mostly fundamental questions. I studied very hard for about two months and had 89th percentile in UWORLD, finished 4 practice exams of HuRST, all passed.I had a feeling I was getting shut off at 85, so I made sure to really take my time on those last few questions. I truly 100% believe I failed and this was a feeling I didn't have from my previous attempts and I am now realizing that maybe this is what you're supposed to feel like. - Lastly, have faith in yourself.

To fail the nclex at 75 questions means you got more questions wrong than right. It meant that you were unable to demonstrate that you can make the safe clincial judgement call 50% of the time when asked. Since the test was so scattered, its hard to say any specific areas to look at. I will say that priority/delegating tasks is very important to the nclex people, so know what you can do as an lpn, not an RN. I also got some questions in the newborn/maternity area. Far and few between who take the NCLEX feel as though they passed after they take it. 85 I think is a good number, you either did very well or very badly. Usually its the for the better. Don't forget you have a much greater chance of passing the NCLEX than failing it. 85% chance of passing it..not too shabby for odds. Best of luck to you
