Sorcadins are one of the most used and most powerful class combinations (those are linked). They usually go 2 ways: A Sorcerer that can wear heavy armor (Making Dex a dump stat because you no longer need it for AC). So you start paladin get heavy armor allowance, level 2 for smites, and you get a Sorc who is no longer a glass cannon.
