I am stuck on mother Gothel's sunstone fragment quest. I found the midday and evening one, but the one I'm supposed to find in the morning doesn't exist. It should be in the Sunlit plateau, I looked up exactly where it's supposed to appear too. Some people said they spawn randomly and the morning one could appear during the evening.

I would just go with the stories you want to do. If you unlock the more expensive ones there isn't really much to do besides decoration.
