I have tried both the QHY9 and the Atik. The QHY9 was in my test slightly more noisy than the Atik with a read noise around 9.5 whereas tha atik was around 8. The noise pattern is also more attractive in the Atik with the QHY9 IMHO. The cooler makes more noise (sound) on the atik than on the QHY9. The dew protection on the Atik is fantastic.
