The Boosts to Ball Security are because 1) fumbles from QB's were way too frequent, and 2) a response to the boost tp CPU tackling to try and help their Run Defense. Again, this change has an overall boost to defensive play, but the ball security boosts were needed to keep fumble rates at a more realistic rate.
It does NOT make sense for high percentage plays to be low percentage plays. Madden 24 punishes your accuracy far too frequently, and in the wrong ways. Personally, I think the ball is being left short because the animation on his throws is this falling away throw that he sometimes uses in RL but in Madden 22 he uses even with a completely clean pocket.
Its a videogame, it has to associate an animation with an action, and interceptions are easy as fuck to animate, in fact they require no work whatsoever, they just recycle catching animations. The least effort principle wins sometimes. In real life a apass could be 40/60 a player catches it or drops.

Interception Slider Suggestion. I don’t know exactly what this slider does under the hood but for me it just seems like they catch more of the int’s rather than dropping them. I mean I have mine at 50 and they still don’t catch every bad throw I make. I had a game I threw 6 picks in and some I’ve thrown zero in. People who are saying they aren't broken are in denial.
