The fan switch is in the radiator, so it does not get hot enough to kick on when the thermostat is stuck shut. I would suggest putting in the oil return into the rear cylinder like a lot of people have. But you might be able to get away with just plugging the hole in the airbox that the crank vent goes to.. And extending the vent line. With the longer line, there might not be enough pressure to push it that far.
