I'm fairly certain the only way to get there is through the Rold lift, there's no alternative. You're probably gonna have to just blast your way to killing Morgott as fast as possible I'm afraid. You would probably have to find a zip. I don't know that anyone's looked for a zip to Mountains since you don't have to go there for the speedrun.
