Instead of getting a 457 I got and second B14R, love them, drop a Trigger Tech Diamond and you are set, it comes with a good chassis, but you don't like them.

Have been wanting one since they first came on the rimfire scene in 2020. Very impressed by the quality for a factory rifle! I really like the features and flexibility to swap triggers, stocks, scope mounts etc down the road as needed.

Thanks for the info, yes the Area 419 parts are awesome. Tough decision. Interesting that the Bergara website doesn't seem to use the word match anywhere when talking about the B14r. And it appears to be a full custom job to upgrade the barrel someday. Lot's of options for the CZ though, and the MTR and LRP are match grade out of the box.

I go over all six of my rifles, what improvements I made, what I like, and what I do...Last year I competed against several CZ457 Varmint models in the AT-1 and Chassis stocks and they were some of the toughest competitors I faced. I have seen several of them win sanctioned matches across the country. I have never seen an MTR win, ever. Mine is the 24" bbl but they come in 16.5" and 20.5" also.The T1X's always suffer from an ejection issue eventually due to the design and that little spring getting loose. The CZ 457 MTR is around $750 if you want to guarantee yourself a match barrel, otherwise the standard 457's are lottery barrels but they're never worse than a RPRR.
