I agree $5/month is steep, but it changes to 1% once you go over $5,000 principal iirc. So for $10k it'd be a $100/yr. Basically the bonuses would pay for the fees and you'd be getting the 5.5%-6.5% still. $5 a month, that's new to me, I've been using concreit since 2016 and I've never been charged a month $5 fee.
