The rifle mostly for shooting some game from a long distance, the machine gun is my early game "Oh Sh!t" weapon, and the pipe shotgun if I haven't found a pipe machine gun yet. It's really not that the scope is a priority, it's just, to me, the least bad option. But I almost never take ammo as a reward from the trader.

If you want to allow this, I think there should be an option when creating a RWG map to either keep spawn points within something like 750m from a trader or to allow for a larger distance. Most players probably will not want to run long distances to find the first trader.I'm curious what a reward like maybe a workbench or something after a certain amount of tier quests. I believe the only guaranteed reward is the bicycle on Tier 1. You might get crafting stations on the other tiers but it's not a sure thing. I got a chem station after Tier 3. The issue is that you can create a brand new A19 on a world generated with A18. The game gives you no warning. An A18 generated world creates the primary problem of no traders existing. It raises trader prices, it lowers how much he gives you for items, it lowers the amount of stock the trader has by half and it sets the trader respawn day from 3 to 7.
