The heat shield from the Vietnam era Winchester trench guns will work it the lip on the front of the barrel shroud is milled off. I found one that had been modified and had it installed on a cut down parkerized 1897 shotgun. It did need to have the screw clearance notches milled into the barrel.

From what I gather, you might need to buy a different magazine cap that has a rounded pin to index the heat shield, rather than the flat-ended cylindrical pin that features a groove to hold the barrel-clamp assembly.

The barrell lenth is about 18 1/2 inches.
